Very true, Tim. Indeed I have found that the last two printers the AHS has
used** had a very hard time not only with blue but with ALL colors. Could you
recommend a good printer?
One of the problems is that a rep of the AHS should be at the printers to see
the first run, in order to make corrections. All the editors get are the
cromalines(the proofs) and they never seem to come out that way in the
printing process, even after corrections have been made before printing.
If one looks closely at the OFC of the last Hosta Journal one will note that
it was doctored up so much that it looked like a water color.Surely there must
be a printer out there who could do a better job.
