I might add that printing companies have taken up the practice of hiring
unskilled workers as printers, rather than pay for the skills of a
journeyman or master pressman. The reasoning behind this is that so much
can be done with computers that the highly-skilled tradesman is no longer
necessary. Managers, not being printers, don't realize how wrong they are,
and apparently feel they can get away with selling an inferior product
(just like everyone else does!). Look for an expensive company, catering
to the top-notch publications, and you will find skilled pressman and a
solid product.

Bob Axmear, when our area's nouveaus moved to the "country", the crows
moved into town, their habitats having been destroyed by ugly subdivisions,
with one uninspired, almost-identical house after the other. The crows
rousted out the yardbirds, bug populations skyrocketed, frogs, toads, and
turtles died out. One foolish couple moved across the road from a pig
farm, then later tried to sue the farmer for the stinky atmosphere (!).
The beautiful shade-loving wildflowers that once grew locally, such as
cyprepediums, high-bush blueberry, and cucullaria spp. have had their
habitats substantially reduced. I guess there is no fighting it.
