Hi Bob,
You know a while back someone questioned many of us about the use of
greensand because it was a "non-renewable" resource and I asked where do
we draw the line. My feelings about that was my using greensand instead
of pumping more chemicals in the ground was worth the risk of using it
up. At that time, Sherryl suggested that we take that hot evironmental
topic private. I still wonder at times where we should draw the line
because even making a new flower bed upsets the extablished environment
of an area.

I guess we need to consider the gravity of the changes made as opposed
to what is put in place of it. Around here we had a WalMart go in a
wetlands area and I guess the city of Moline thought that was better
than the value of Wetlands. (maybe a toss up in this case <G>) .

I wouldn't be surprised if the mix that Rich suggested that he found at
Kmart doesn't have problems with swamp grass being harvested. I don't
know. At least that is a "renewable" resource I guess.

We all have to make the best decisions about what we feel to be
important and hope what we are leaving is a better world for it .

I wax philosophical and I think I hear Sherryl coming :-) .
