Also, what about the peat moss industry of Canada. Just think of the economic
consequences if harvesting of Canadian peat were banned. If all industries
that market "non-renewable" resources were banned, we would have to turn to
Socialism at best and Communism at worst. OR we could return to the good old
days of The Dark Ages.
The only people who would be in business would be the alchemists.
