I have some oxalis in my shade garden and am strongly considering some
caladiums. I'm in Zone 5 (Chicago). I know caladiums aren't hardy here; if I
get some, should I dig them up in fall and store them in a bag in the garage
over the winter, which is what I have done with glads, or should I pot them as
with coleus and keep them growing actively? Also, do I need to dig up the
oxalis or not? I did last fall and replanted them in the spring; I don't find
it an onerous task, but I'd just as soon leave them in the ground if they're
hardy. Thanks for your advice!
Helen
