Helen:
I have had no experience with oxalis but have left my glads in the
ground here for three years running (my sunny area not the shade garden)
with little or no mulch in the winter and they have done great. I would
venture to guess that you might be able to experiment with some oxalis
and they probably will live. I planted mine extra deep just in case.
