    Welcome to the Shadegardens List. Good to see you over here. Stick
around, lots of nice people who happen to be pretty knowledgeable about
gardening in the shade.... and a bonus... they readily share.
    have you lived on your property long? First thing I would do is simply
observe at all times of the year and make notes on what IS there before I
removed anything. Next purchase a decent wildflower guide for your State.
Begin with natives and then branch out from there to other shade
appreciative perennials from around the temperate world. All kinds of
goodies to play with in your new garden-to-be.
    Don't forget to have a good time....
