Margaret: I don't think the government is impotent. I doubt if it could get
that good.

My spraying horror story: A lawn care company overshot the property line and
sprayed a bed of fine hosta along the entire length of the north side of my
house.

I complained, but the spray-person said the plants wouldn't be harmed. I
also complained to the company office and got the same reply. The next day
the hostas showed leaf damage and many died. I went to small claims court
and won a small
$ judgment for damages.

I don't know why so many of us are ultra-crazy about lawns.
I'd rather have grass paths among the flower gardens.
