You saw them--those are your blooms!

Funny the market is flooded with Purple Palace since it's one of the least
dramatic.  However, unlike some who have commented on them, I find the
blooms interesting enough, and in a garden of ferns, hosta, etc., those tall
wisps are OK with me.  Another bright side: if you don't like them, it's
pretty trivial snapping them off.
