Epimedium

I have become very fond of epimedium. They're not only attractive ground
covers, they also seem to be fairly pest/disease free.

However, a number of my epimedium aren't growing at all (for a month). It's
still somewhat cool and damp here, so that's not the problem. Also, these
strugglers are in different parts of the garden.

I am seeing the same problem with a clemetis that's still in the pot I
bought it in; seems like it just quit (short of actually dying)--hasn't had
any new growth in two weeks. (Another one I had did this after planting,
then it died three weeks later--perhaps C. wilt.)

HELP! Especially with the epimedium!
