Hey Nick,
I live in Columbus, GA and have a beautiful Columbine. It even receives the
hot afternoon sun from 1-5. It has done really well. I started from seed
and planted in a spot that was 70% hard clay and 30% compost I had added.
Can't say I paid more attention to it than any other plant in my garden. And
I hate to water so I am sure it has gotten the bare minimum in that area. It
filled out really nice the first year and exactly a year from when I seeded
it, it bloomed. If it reseeds, I don't care, I love it. I will consider it
a freebie regardless of it's color.
