I don't really know of any effective treatment of viruses for plants.
Usually the plant is discarded.  Need to apologize here as speaking to Jim, I
actually thought I was writing that post to the Clivia list.  I did not check the
sender line, sorry.

If I thought the problem a virus, I would isolate the plant while treating
it.
