Hi Marc,
Sorry, took a bit to get back to you. Almost forgot this one. In my
personal experience there is no difference between P. falcatum var. and P.
odoratum var. They are the same. If there is a difference I can not find
it. I have both growing in my garden.
P. multiflorum is due to the number of flowers in each cluster hanging
beneath each leaf junction on the stem. The var. form of P. m. I am
familiar with is 'Striatum' and it is definitely different from the others.
The variegation is in stripes throughout the leaf. Also different colors of
green and white.
