Cimicifugas require moist, cool locations. Several species are indigenous to
North America: cordifolia and racemosa are two that I know of.
I do not recall how old your plant of ramosa is, Bobbi, but unless it was
planted just this year, it should be taller. C. ramosa is tall, sometimes
reaching 7'.
