Re: [SG] cimicifuga / Doll's Eyes?

        Sounds as though you may have Doll's Eyes or Actea pachypoda. Foliage
looks almost exactly like the Cimicifuga except for size in height and
spread. The blooms are like fuzzy bottle brushes and mature into seeds on
the end of stalks in a bunch at the end of the stem. Each seed will have a
waxy white berry with a dark purple-black spot. Thus the name Doll's Eyes.
Somewhat like the old turn of the century china doll heads. Keep an eye on
them and you will know for sure. If someone dug they before bloom the
confusion would be easy.
