Re: [SG] cimicifuga / Doll's Eyes?

Hi Cindy,
Just as there are more than one species and selections of Cimicifuga,
there are more than one species of Actea to play with in the garden. There
are at least four that I am aware of. One with red berries from the West
Coast, holly - Red berries on rubra and black berries on spicata from
Europe. I have been threatening to purchase A. rubbra for some time now.
Last time I did I ended up with another Cimicifuga in the garden. A. pachy.
sometimes has red berries as well, but have not seen one for sale recently.
