I hope someone can answer this question for me! Why do plants revert and is there something a person can do to prevent this? In the past I have bought "Polygonatum Ododratum "variegatum"", which was variegated but the following year turned all green. I also just got a variegated Brunnera and was told by a nurseryman that he had stopped selling it because too many people complained it also reverted. Does this mean it will also happen to mine? Does it have to do with the amount of sun/shade they receive, if so what would be the ideal light conditions for these plants? Thanks!
