Hi!

My paternal grandmother ("Mammaw") could grow anything well. She always put
oyster shells in planting hole or in container. Native soil was clay. Is it
the Mg in such shells that helped? Wouldn't they add Lime to soil? Maybe other
trace elements such as boron?
