Hi, Patty, where in Massachusetts are you from?  I live in Cambridge.
It seems that we have some things in common, besides Massachusetts....

I am also a teacher, also hurt my back in a car accident....and also
garden anyway!!

Your garden sounds really nice....One daylily I have been able to grow
with success in my shade garden is the Stella D'Oro, and she is so
nice to bloom repeatedly, too....

One other thing I noticed in your description of your garden is your
mention of Bishop's Weed.  I have heard people on another gardening
list that I am on tell people to NEVER NEVER plant the stuff, that it
will completely take over the garden in a few years, and you will be
able to do notbing to get rid of it!!  Anyway, glad to have another
Massachusetts gardener here.
