John,
I'll echo some other replies you've had. I think, in your zone, you can
plant them in full sun as long as you make sure they don't dry out. You
don't say whether yours are the cut leaf variety or not. The finely cut
leaf ones need more protection from hot sun, in my experience...but
In my zone and south, full sun fries them fairly badly....
Where you garden makes so much difference as to where you plant
something...
Just make sure you don't let them dry out, esp. the first season of
planting.
