Hi Pam & All,
I grew up on the Gulf Coast----Freeport TX-----and we used to see fields of
what we called Buttercups---pink with white striation. We called them
buttercups becuz of the cupped petals and the yellow pollen.
Pam, is that to which you refer?
Clyde Crockett
P.S. I miss 'em. We would pick them and take them to Mama Bettie and Mamaw.
