Don't think there is a trick to it, Debby. Just go at it with confidence as
though you know all there is to know. I'm sure your fern will perk up. A
couple of years ago I dug a hole and put in some Maidenhair Fern, which is
doing beautifully. As soon as I get my recent acquititions planted I intend
to move that and some other fern.
