Mine is definitely a vine - have it growing up a stock lattice panel. Had
to encourage it to use the panel, but it caught on after a while and has
climbed to the top and arched over. Blooms profusely in spring - just
starting to fade a bit and then throws flowers all season...rather nice
vine and behaves well, unlike some vining Loniceras. Might even be
semi-evergreen for you as a friend has one in DC and it blooms well into
November for him.
