Re: [SG] pulmonaria 'David Ward' and spruce question

Dear All,
My pulmonaria 'David Ward' is doing this leaf rolling this year also.  I have
had it three years now, it has bloomed all three years and is in the same
location as always.  It hasn't gotten a chance to get dry this year, so I
don't think the leaf roll could be caused by dryness.  I have a feeling this
is going to be one that is difficult to grow well.  Any thoughts about
cutting off the leaves at the base and starting over?  Mine is eaten by bugs,
too, and I have thought about doing this.

On another strange phenomenon...Is anyone else having problems with seemingly
healthy dwarf Alberta spruces turning brown all of a sudden this year?  It is
happening all over Peoria, Ill.  I noticed some of mine doing this and
started looking around and see this everywhere in our area.
