The only place I have been able to keep this plant in without experiencing
the wilting/curling/drying, etc. is in a mud hole which is always quite
moist.  Even daily watering didn't prevent those unwanted effects when it
was planted in an ordinary garden area.  Other plants in the mud hole are
Colocasia and Typha, so you can imagine how much moisture I am talking about.
