I have finally found the one I've been looking for...Miss Bateman. The
flowers are 6 inch white star shaped and the stamens are reddish purple.
Blooms June through September.
I'd like to plant it next to the wild honeysuckle, (it's been pruned up like
a tree & reaches 20 feet) it's going to be in mostly shade....no dapled
nothing...just deep shade...I'd really like it there cuz that's where the
bench is, but I guess my question is how much shade will this thing
tolerate?
I have others in full sun with the roots shaded, but other people have told
me that they have had success with clematis in the shade....
Should I reconsider my placement?
