Re: [SG] Clematis in the shade

I have about 10 Clematis planted in my very shady yard ranging in age from 1
yr to 3 yrs. so I will soon find out which ones will bloom in shade.   So
far, C. jackmanii has bloomed well with about 2 hrs of direct sun.  The other
two that are 3 years old have not bloomed.  Niobe, 2 yrs old has bloomed.  It
is in one of my sunnier spots with full sun in spring and almost full shade
except about an hour in summer and fall.  The other 2 year olds in more shade
have not bloomed.  That is all my experience so far.
