Nancy-
I realize that this topic was discussed a couple of weeks ago but I thought I
would share with you my current experience.
Before reading all the post regarding this topic I had my Colocasia 'black
magic' planted in an high shade raised bed and just simple kept watered
regular. Well, this Sunday (two days ago) I decided to transplant this guy
because he just wasn't as big as everyone said he should get. I put him into
a rather large copper pot that has no drainage holes...sorta boggish. The
plant has grown 4 inches in two days!!!!! I was shocked. Looks like by
transplanting him into an enviroment of "mush" he is thriving....I will keep
you posted with his progress. I don't know if this little bit of information
helps you, I hope it will.
Happy Gardening
