Kemberly and Christine
if you are indeed talking about the old fashion elephant ears. several
years ago I planted one out back near the water hydran and it came back
every year. it kinda took over that spot. it got so big. the bulbs
multiplied and it got bigger and bigger. I then decided to remove and
let me tell you that was one big job. I was beginning to think we were
gonna have to hire someone with a backhoe to come out and dig it up.
however it was a beautiful plant. since then I've never planted one
again. I've been tempted, but had second thought
always remembered what a job it was for my husband to get that thing out
of the ground. and the thought that he might present me with divorce
papers...ha ha ha ha ha
in a dryer location it might not spread and multiply as much as it did
in my location
that's my experience with the elephant ear plant
