Why not? It would have been better if you had root pruned it last spring, but it is worth the try. Prepare the new location, dig as big a root ball as you can handle, take the opportunity to prune and enhance the shape, plant it at the same depth as now, water it in well and give it a good soaking once a week until it gets established.
