Hi Gene and others,
I know Gene's away at Hosta College (and I'm envious!). I hope others will know about some of these plants to help me out while he's gone. I'm looking in Munchkin Nursery catalog at all the different Polygonatums. I had no idea there were so many kinds, but I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
I only have 3 kinds. One of them I thought was P. humile, until I just found a label in my box of labels that said P. fulcatum. Are these one and the same or similar?
I also have P. biflorum and P. odoratum. Now I want to try a couple new ones. Even though I live in zone 4a, I do grow quite a few zone 5 plants. What would everyone suggest out of the following in the catalog?
P. multiflorum
P. curvistylum
P.odoratum 'Flore Pleno'
P. verticillatum rubrum
P. x hybrid 'Valerie's song'
Thanks for any and all info about these!
