Looks as though you have received a great deal of good advice already. Only
like to emphasize what someone else has already said. Take your time, have a good
time. Don't let your gardening become a "job" or "project" that has to be
completed. Gardening (thank the gods) in never completed.... it is a process, not
an end.
My favorite book on the subject is Colston Burrell's "Gardener's Encyclopedia
of Wildflowers"... check it out. Darn good at suggesting plant combinations.
