Re: Calla lilies - sun or shade?


In South Africa, the callas were blooming in August, which is late winter
there (like February here).  I saw them blooming around Stellenbosch.  The
southwestern Cape is probably about like USDA zone 9 in most places.

I would guess -- pure speculation -- that your plant would need more sun
Bobbi, plus fertilizer and lots and lots of water, in order to bloom.
