Aeolus is the god of the winds. An aeolian harp is a device that makes a
sound when the wind blows over/through it. Usually involving vibrating
strings. It's often built in a small box you can set in an open window.
A chime makes noise/music when it's struck. Your wind chime probably has
pieces that tinkle together when blown upon.

Hi folks,
A while back I was looking at wind chimes from Wind & Weather and saw a
pic of their Aeolian Wind Chime Mobile. . . . The windchime at the 1st
site looks nothing like these "harps" though, so I wonder how it can
sound like one...or is there another definition of aeolian? . . .
