Re: Gentiana hexa-farreri

Gentiana hexa-farreri is a vigorous garden hybrid of G. hexaphylla
and G. farreri. It is summer-blooming, with trailing stems. The deep
sky-blue flowers are solitary and terminal. There are some named
clones: 'Aberchalder' deep azure blue, blooming summer to autumn,
'Alpha' vigorous and free-flowering, white-throat, striped interior,
'Omega' similar but without white throat, 'Inez Weeks' vigorous, up
to 14 flowers per stem, paler blue.
