Thanks Diane,
I have  a frieend that lives near Quebec. We aree always talking about
hostas. He is one of the most knowledgeable person that I have ever met. He
lives in Guelp ..Canada. He want s me to visit this year. I live near Boston.
My concern is taking the plants across the border. I don't know the procedure
and I wouldn't want to lose a very valuable hosta in the process.
That's why I was asking those questions He has some very rare hostas that
originated in Japan and he was going togive me 0one while up there but I'd be
afraid to lose it by the border patrol
