Primrose for Sunset zone 9?

Is there a primrose variaty that will prosper in Sunset zone 9? They grow
primroses here in the winter, but I'm looking for something that will do
well during the summer and hopefully come back next year. It gets between
25-105 degrees during the year and I have both sun and shade areas on one
acre. The winter varities they have here do not do well the next year.
