Vinegar is a weak enough acid to pickle the concrete. In the old days we used
muriatic acid, but this is dangerous stuff. Now when were doing it, the
neighborhood smells like a fresh vinagrette. If you have any of the real old
Peters fert, back when it stained, you can use this as a coloring agent. mix
with watr, and spray on. Repeat, as the color lightens when it drie
