Hi Janet:
what a great suggestion for planting the Tulips, Daffodils and Crocus.
We have almost given up on planting any more Tulips because of our
squirrel population. I have noticed that we can grow the Daffodils
but the Tulips disappear! I shall try a couple of area as you
suggested this Fall and see if it works here in Iowa. Being too warm
for Tulips certainly is not a problem. The older I get, the more I
could live without Tulips, if I had the warmth!
Thanks for sharing your thought on growing the Tulips. We also have a
colony of Chippies. I have had some Crocus, but if they do not come
up this Spring, I'll know the Chpiies had a good meal!
Forrest in VERY cold Iowa!
