Have a wren story for all.
They are very friendly but noisy. He can have several wives at one time. They
get used to me in the garden and therefore ignore me. They also have several
broods per year (using different houses). One late August I decided to take
houses down for winter and clean them out. WELL, she started screaming at me
as I walked to the garage to empty birdhouse. I could tell she meant every
word she said to me. I looked inside the house and was face to face with her
latest brood. Returned said house to former tree limb and the neighborhood
became quiet again. She forgave me.
