Is SHADEGARDENS quiet this week or has mail gone elsewhere?

Master gardeners all over New York are teaching spring garden workshops. I
have two friends teaching, one doing hosta, one doing general shade gardening.

The shade teacher had 86 people in her class on a snowy day in what is a small
upstate NY county.

Most new shade gardeners, she tells me, want lots of flowers.  Instructing
with foliage, shape, and texture was difficult.

There is a good subject.
