I have a few shade flowers. I notice my periwinkles or creeping myrtle does better in the sun than in the shade even though the books say this flower will do good in the shade I have some periwinkles in the shade and they do poorly. I have the yellow bells in full shade and they bloom very well in the shade. I have my hosta's in partial shade because I know if I plant them in full sun they will over take the whole area.
