It is interesting what we come back to. I grew up in a house with lots of
trees and with a creek on the property. When I was house-hunting, this one
felt "perfect" -- it has lots of trees and a creek in a ravine. The
downside, of course, is that in Georgia, this means mosquitos in abundance
(amongst a number of other creepy-crawlies that come out of the woods).

Lilies and irisi (???) are definitely on the menu, but I'm not familiar
with the others. I still need to clear out a bunch of brush and some of
the undergrowth -- which needs to be done carefully as I wish to open
things up a bit without encouraging erosion. Which of these would be
considered perennials in zone 7? This is also definitely deep shade down
in there, as the whole area is surrounded with mature deciduous trees.

Thanks!
