Editors in Chiefand now available  is wonderful.

I just recieved this from a local garden club as a gift for doing  a
presentation on shade gardening and have not been able to put it down. It
covers everything from trees and shrubs to houseplants, tropicals, and
grasses, perennials and cacti.. Well written, easy to use and there are more
than 15,000 plants and 6,000 photos. Three full pages of Hedera and 6 pages of
Hosta including 58 pictures .If you could only have one reference book I would
strongly recommend your checking this one out.
