Yes it is true the AHS hosta robin is dead,perhaps it had ben coming to
that for a long time,perhaps it needed to come to that,However last
spring I bought what I thought was Petasites japonicus giganteum (giant
butterbur) although I did get Petasites,it was not giganteum,insted I
got two forms of it,one with white flowers and rather round leaves,the
other has purple flowers and a more haert shaped leaf,both get about 40
inches tall and the leaves get about three feet across.
Does anyone know what variety these are.
