Correction:
My description of Aztec Grass which has been identified by two nurseries as
a variegated form of Liriope muscari does have a white border and from a
distance appears to have an all, light green center. On closer inspection, the
center has vey fine white lines amid the green. Sorry.
My daughter woke me this morning to tell me that someone's pet rabbit was in
our garden. I smiled . Then got up and put out the Blood Meal. This is their
favorite season in the garden. All those tender shoots of hostas! Yum!
Thalictrums: I realize this is almost impoosibe to answer, but you might be
able to put me on the right path: I grow only two varieties of Thalictrum.
Lost labels.
They ar now emerging. The foliage and petioles of one is a bright green. The
other has leaves of a greenish, brownish, maroonish tone and red petioles. Any
ideas as to what these are. I think they are quite common.
Thanks!
Clyde Crockett
