Re: [SG] kalmia

Bobbi,
You certainly are not in a minority with soil testing for your garden.
I seldom hear of many who do. The ones who do take the time are usually
those who vegetable garden. Before you run out to the garden and take some
samples though, may I make a suggestion. contact you local extension agent
for a pamphlet on the procedure. There is a certain way to go about the
process so you will get accurate results on the test.
Incidentally, if you become a Master Gardener this is one of the things
you learn about and can volunteer your time making the tests over at the
extension office with a bunch of fun people.
