It kind of depends on what you have in your dish water. If were socking
some really dirty pots in toluene you could have a big problem. On the
other hand if it is just ploin old dishwashing detergent, forget about
it. A little will do no harm and possibly some good. We have been known
to use a diluted solution to spray off plants and naturally the runoff
ends upin the soil. She might have even helped your gardening along.
