So glad you asked, Denise.  I had never heard the word until recently.
When I looked it up, I realized that it was the strange creature I had
seen in my yard.  It's just a weird looking mouse which apparently likes
hosta.  I;ll leave it to those who are more knowledgeable to give you
better information.
