Margaret,

I appreciate the encouraging comments.  Basically, I believe that plants want to
grow and if we give them a chance that is what they will do.  Sometimes, though, I
am uncertain as to whether I am doing the right thing.  Seeing those little shoots
made me feel good.

I was in the yard earlier and saw a sure sign of Spring -- the first woodchuck of
the season.  They are the bain of my summer existence.
